Terms of service
Last updated August 7, 2026. These terms cover your use of sparkcollision.com and the basics of how estimates, repairs and payment work at our shop.
Agreement
By using sparkcollision.com or having work performed at Spark Collision Center, 40923 Albrae St, Fremont, CA 94538, you agree to these terms. If you do not agree with them, please do not use the site or the services.
About the website
We try to keep everything on this site accurate and current, but content here is provided for general information. Descriptions of services, hours, service areas and timelines are not promises about any specific job. Nothing on this site creates a repair contract; that happens in writing at the shop.
The text, images, logo and design on this site belong to Spark Collision Center or are used with permission. Please do not copy or republish them without asking first.
Estimates
Estimates are free and are written after we inspect the vehicle in person. An estimate is our best assessment of the visible damage at the time it is written. It is not a fixed quote and it does not obligate you to have the work done with us.
Collision damage frequently extends past what is visible. If additional damage is found during teardown, we will document it and contact you, and where a claim is involved, submit it to your insurer as a supplement, before that additional work goes ahead.
Authorization and payment
No repair work begins until you have authorized it. We will not exceed the authorized amount without getting your approval first. Payment for any amount you are responsible for, including any insurance deductible, is due before the vehicle is released, unless we have agreed otherwise in writing.
Commercial and fleet accounts may be set up with consolidated billing on separately agreed terms.
Insurance claims
We work with all major carriers and will handle the adjuster back-and-forth on your behalf when you ask us to. Your insurance policy is an agreement between you and your carrier, and we are not a party to it. Coverage decisions, what your carrier will pay for and any deductible you owe are set by your policy and your insurer, not by us. You are always free to choose your own repair shop.
Parts
Parts used on a repair may be new original equipment, aftermarket, recycled or reconditioned, depending on availability, your insurer's authorization and what you approve. The parts to be used are identified on your estimate. If you have a preference, tell us before you authorize the work.
Timelines
You will get a target completion date with your estimate, and a call from us if anything moves it. Target dates depend on parts availability, insurer approvals and what we find during teardown, and are estimates rather than guarantees.
Vehicle pickup and storage
Please pick up your vehicle promptly once we tell you it is ready. Vehicles left after completion may be subject to storage charges to the extent permitted by California law. Please remove personal belongings before leaving a vehicle with us; we are not responsible for items left inside.
Warranty
Any warranty on our workmanship, along with what it covers and for how long, will be stated on your repair order or final invoice. Parts carry whatever warranty their manufacturer provides. Damage from later accidents, normal wear, neglect or work performed elsewhere is not covered. If you have questions about warranty coverage, ask us before you authorize the repair.
Communications
If you give us your phone number or email, you agree that we may contact you about your estimate, your repair and anything we need to keep the job moving. Standard message and data rates may apply. Tell us if you would prefer not to be texted.
Limitation of liability
To the fullest extent allowed by California law, Spark Collision Center is not liable for indirect, incidental or consequential damages arising from use of this website. Nothing in these terms limits any right you have under the California Automotive Repair Act or other consumer protection law that cannot be waived.
Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of the State of California. Any dispute will be handled in the state or federal courts serving Alameda County, California.
Changes
We may update these terms. When we do, we will change the date at the top of this page. Continuing to use the site after an update means you accept the revised terms.
